This application offers an authentic recreation of a classic retro vintage game originally from the early 1980s, updated for modern devices. Similar to titles such as Scramble by Grandstand and Astro Command by Epoch, as well as versions released by Radio Shack and other companies during that era, this is essentially the same gameplay presented within a different visual presentation.

For enthusiasts of the Astro Wars or Galaxy Invader conversions, this title is likely to meet expectations and possibly exceed them in terms of fidelity.

The development team has strived to faithfully emulate every detail of the original tabletop arcade game. The authentic audio effects—including the characteristic flickering of the vacuum fluorescent display and attack wave patterns—are all meticulously recreated. We estimate the accuracy at approximately 97%, with minor adjustments made to accommodate the constraints of mobile hardware. Building on previous successful retro emulations, this version also incorporates user feedback, resulting in added features such as landscape zoom mode for iPhone users.

The game invites players to revisit a nostalgic era through an engaging arcade experience. The controls are straightforward: turn on the device, view an introductory demo, select a difficulty level, and press start. Gameplay involves evading enemy missiles, attacking targets, destroying missile bases, fending off flying aliens, dodging meteors, navigating terrain features, and ultimately destroying the enemy’s core base. The experience is designed to be simple yet challenging, with restarting achieved simply by toggling power off and on.

<li>Landscape zoom mode can be activated by rotating the device left.</li>
<li>The game supports iCade controllers—activate via the iCade button located at the top right corner. Note that if the device is not connected to an iCade, pressing this will summon a virtual keyboard; pressing the iCade toggle again will hide it.</li>
